Angelo Lorenzetti during a time out

Trento, February 15th 2017
“It was a match similar to that played in Finland, with the first two sets very difficult and the others very easy – said Angelo Lorenzetti -. In the first part we struggled to be incisive with the service and the opponents’ side-out was easier; we had a difficult moment but the team has been good to keep the focus on the match and restart. When Lanza entered the field we have been able to turn more incisive, especially with the service. I’m happy because from this point of view he can give us more self-confidence in our means, also because on Sunday evening against Modena we will have to fight and suffer like this evening, versus an even more dangerous opponent”.
The going match of the derby of the quarter-finals of 2017 CEV Cup against Piacenza will be played in the first part of March (probably on Wednesday 1st – date yet to be confirmed) in Emilia while the return match will be played at PalaTrento two weeks later. Starting from Thursday afternoon the team will start thinking again about SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17: a home match is coming, scheduled for Sunday 19th February (twenty-fourth day of regular season – live on Radio Dolomiti and Lega Volley Channel).
